‘The biggest challenge I encountered while I was overseas was the language difference with the locals. I spent more time with bilingual friends at first until I got used to it. the placement influenced my decision of my final year project. I’m more open to travelling to foreign places for the sake of adventure. It’s one of the few lifetime chances to experience international work and/or study experiences. Take it! I would happily jump on another chance to do it all over again as it provided me with a lot of invaluable experience.’
