Key Theme: Integration of club players and international students at Cardiff Met
Impact and Achievements: As the most diverse club at Cardiff Met, Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences/Cardiff Met Sport wanted to celebrate this by getting to know about each individual's country of origin. They hosted 20 rounds of Quiz questions from countries all across the globe, from Nepal to the USA.
With 110 students in attendance, the event was a huge success. They were able to purchase each player a keepsake of a key chain with Cardiff Met Cricket and a globa etched onto it. The event's objective was to show the nature of diversity within the club and also to remind players daily of the global impact Cardiff Met Cricket has on Cardiff Met. The club players have identified a growth in identity within the club but also within the University.
