My role at the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre

Reporting to the Director and working with the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre's (FIC) Senior Management Team, I manage the finance function within the FIC. This involves the provision of a comprehensive, high-quality and in-depth financial and management accounting service. Liaising with key partners and stakeholders, I ensure appropriate operational and strategic decisions are implemented in line with strict financial regulations and guidelines. This underpins a sustainable business plan for the FIC. 

Previous Experience

Public Sector Financial Services (20 years).

Delivering at various levels, including section head several financial support services, incorporating accountancy and audit functions that operated across various local government service areas.

University Financial Management (8 years)

Providing at various levels, including strategic a project(s) based financial support service to various University Schools delivering large scale EU funded projects. 

Qualifications and Professional Memberships

Fellow member of Association of Accounting Technicians.

Certificate in Management Studies.
