Cardiff Metropolitan University was glad to be in attendance at Venturefest Wales in July 2014. The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors and innovators to inspire business growth in Wales. It was the first event of its kind, giving businesses and financiers the opportunity to connect with each other, share ideas, meet experts and find solutions that will encourage business growth in Wales.
Fiona Argent, Manager of the University's Centre for Work Based Learning (CWBL), was interviewed at the event by Sarah Dickins from BBC Wales. Fiona discussed the involvement of Cardiff Metropolitan University at Venturefest, the importance of CWBL within Cardiff Metropolitan University and the importance of Work Based Learning being available through Higher Education Institutes to businesses throughout Wales.
