University is not just about qualifications, it's about building friendships, experiencing new things and becoming 'you', ready for your life ahead. The covid-19 pandemic has changed the world in which we live and it’s going to make opportunities to connect and socialise a bit different. As entrepreneurs we see opportunity in adversity, and we know you will see opportunity too.
We want to help you to make the most of your time at Cardiff Met, so tell us about your ideas to re-imagine the student experience during the pandemic and we will help you to make them a reality with funding and support.
We want to hear your ideas for bringing people together to share ideas, enjoy laughs, make connections and provide support when we need it most. How will you reinvent a positive student experience, share your passions with fellow students, make connections and perhaps even replicate a night out, playing pool and having a loud debate over chips and beers at the Woodville?
This might be an event, a service or something else - we're happy to support your imagination as long as you are staying safe. Rules over social distancing must be complied with.
We're running this as a competition, and we're going to support the best ideas. Ideas which we support will receive a £20 voucher for each team member as a prize (max 5 per team) and up to £200 per team member in funding to help make the idea a reality (max £600 per idea).
