Who are we?
We are a group of disabled and non-disabled staff from both academic and support staff backgrounds who have come together to create a place of solidarity and support. Our starting point is as a support network; however, we also work from the social model of disability meaning that an accessible environment (physical and social) makes living and working so much better.
Our Objectives
- Promote the activities, stories, issues and successes of disabled staff (and students) within the University and the local community
- Provide a platform for Disabled peoples voices
- Create a forum for Disabled people to discuss and share experiences of working within Cardiff Met
- Invite for discussion and advise on accessibility throughout the university.
