Tom supports the BSc Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage (SCRAM) degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and currently works with a number of clubs and associations delivering strength and conditioning support. ​

Teaching and Supervision

Tom provides support for the BSc (Hons) Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage (SCRaM), MSc Strength and Conditioning, and the MSc Sport Rehabilitation courses. His main roles include supporting teaching in practical lectures and the organisation of equipment/materials for the following strength and conditioning modules:

• SSP4120 – Foundations in Strength and Conditioning
• SSP5134 – Strength and Conditioning Coaching
• SSP6136 – Advanced Strength and Conditioning

Tom also provides technical support for SCRAM students completing independent/dissertation projects as well as being involved in mentoring students on work placements as part of the Open Campus initiative.
