Heidi divides her time between Cardiff Metropolitan University and developing community dance in mid Wales. Her main contributions to the Dance degree are in the areas of dance context and analysis. Her work within community dance encompasses the areas of dance education from pre-school through to continuing adult education, and in dance for well-being.

She has a particular interest in dance for Parkinson’s and dance with children and adults with learning disabilities. Her professional role involves teaching, performing, fund raising and managing projects, training, researching and writing.
