Money Advice

How we can help

During your time at university, you may need advice on budgeting, money management or student finance.

We offer appointments and drop-in sessions to help you with budgeting and money management, student funding, and resolving any issues with Student Finance.

Students can also access free specialist advice from our partner providers Money Saviour CIC and Citizen’s Advice Cardiff and Vale, including debt advice, benefits, housing, consumer, and family.

Speak to us about:

  • any money worries
  • student finance
  • emergency funding
  • budgeting and money management
  • additional support for care leavers and estranged students
  • spending concerns, e.g, gambling or gaming
  • financial implications of repeating, suspending or withdrawing from studies

New and Prospective Students

We understand that prospective students and parents/guardians will often have questions about what funding is available to students, and how/when to apply.

Our Money Advice team can answer enquiries and provide support with planning a student budget.
